Comprehensive Planning Meeting
July 15, 2009
Town of Clearfield Comprehensive Planning Meeting was held Wednesday, July 15, 2009. The
following people were in attendance: Kathy Davis, Ron Lauden, Cindy Suzda, Jim Suzda, and
George Davis. Absent were Ron Bailey and Gene Morris.
Ron Lauden opened the meeting at 6:00pm. It was noted that the meeting had been properly
posted.
Approve Agenda. Motion by Jim Suzda, second by Kathy Davis to approve the agenda as
presented. Motion carried.
Approve Minutes. Motion by Ron Lauden, second by Jim Suzda to approve the minutes from the
May 20, 2009 Comprehensive Planning Meeting. Motion carried.
Review Draft Chapter 6: Economic Development. In addition to various clerical errors, the
following changes were agreed upon:
 Page 6-14: Goal 1: Preserve productive agricultural land for long-term farm uses. Delete
sections 1 and 2.
 Page 6-14/15: Goal 2: Encourage local economic development opportunities… Delete
sections 4 and 5.
Review Draft Chapter 7: Existing Land Use. Various clerical errors were corrected.
Review Zoning and Land Use Maps. Change Krueger Road to K&K Road.
All changes will be communicated to Jeff Sanders of OMNNI.
Next Meeting. The next Comprehensive Planning Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August
19, 2009 at 6:00pm. Note: This meeting was cancelled; the next meeting is scheduled for
Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 6:00pm.
Adjournment. Motion by Jim Suzda, second by Ron Lauden to adjourn the meeting. Motion
carried. The meeting was adjourned at 6:44pm.
