Monthly Board Meeting
Town of Clearfield Board Meeting was held Wednesday, March 21, 2018. The following Town officials were in attendance: Doug Duray, Jim Suzda, Mike Meixner Cindy Suzda, Deb Slye and also in attendance was Jody Bigalke, Timothy Darrey, Andrew Darrey, Brian Darrey, Ken Southworth and Scott Southworth.
Call to Order.Meeting was called to order at 7:00pm. It was noted that the meeting had been properly posted.
The Pledge of Allegiance. Mike Meixner led the Town Board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Approve Agenda.Motion by Mike Meixner, second by Jim Suzda to approve the agenda as presented. It was also noted that the agenda was properly posted. Motion carried.
Scott Southworth. Scott Southworth discussed what he could do for Juneau County as Judge for the April 3rd Election.
Timothy Darrey. Timothy Darrey discussed that he would like to obtain a Conditional Use Permit to have a used car lot on his property on 37th Street. There will be a Public Hearing on April 18th at 6:30 pm to discuss the conditional Use Application.
Clerk’s Minutes.Motion by Jim Suzda, second by Mike Meixner to approve the minutes from the February 21st Regular Monthly Board Meeting. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report.The March 2018 Money Market account balance was $191387.15 and the checking account balance was $3,532.62.The report was placed on file Deb Slye also discussed that there are still dogs that are not licensed in the Town of Clearfield.
Road Report.Jody Bigalke reported that he has put the weight limit signs on the roads, Worked on the Plow Truck, plowing and salting the roads. Road Inspection is Scheduled for Friday April 13th at 8:00 am.
Water Issue. Doug Duray reported that there was not much information to report because everything has been put on hold with the government shut down. This has been put on Hold for right now and Matt will give us updates when he has some for the study.
Zoning Administrator’s Report.Cindy Suzda reported that she has been in contact with Rebecca Richards Bria about the Jay Orick Violation.
Certified Survey Map for Pavloski Development, LLC. Motion by Doug Duray, second by Jim Suzda to approve the Certified Survey map presented by Pavloski Development. Motion Carried.
Jay Orick Violation Discussed was that Jay Orick has not moved forth with the matter of removing his mobile home as he has promised the town. This matter has been turned over to the Town Attorney.
Building Permits for February 2018. (None).
Board Comments. None.
Establish April Board Meeting Agenda.Timothy Darrey Conditional Use Permit, Road Inspections.
Approval of Vouchers.Motion by Jim Suzda, second by Mike Meixner to approve the payment of vouchers as presented. Motion carried.
Adjournment.Motion by Doug Duray, second by Jim Suzda to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:46 pm. The next board meeting is scheduled for April 18, 2018 Following the Annual Meeting at 7:00pm. Public Hearing for Conditional Use Permit at 6:30 pm.
